On Wednesday, May 16th we caught up with Willie Nelson on tour where he joined Norah Jones, Herbie Hancock, Amos Lee, Dave Koz, Kurt Elling, Michael Cuscuna and Maxine Gordon in the latest ArtistShare project by Dan Ouellette - Bruce Lundvall, Playing by Ear.   We all had a great time and afterwords met up with Willie and his band at the concert in Montclair, NJ.   Stay tuned for more details and the official project launch!

Announcing Radhika Philip's Being Here!  In this new fan-funded project Radhika will talk to extraordinary New York City musicians about the creative process.  She will ask them about their values and practices, about composing, improvising, and bandleading, and about the relationship between art and the audience.  The project features today's most prominent musicians such as Bill Frisell, Brian Blade, Maria Schneider, Vijay Iyer and Mark Turner just to name a few.
